Program Description
By telling stories in fun and new ways, you can capture the attention, imagination, and excitement of your students to better focus their energy and wiggles. Storyteller and early childhood educator, Via Goode, invites you to experience learning through story to enhance your teaching practices with students in pre-K through second grade. By actively participating as a student yourself, you’ll learn Via’s tried-and-true tricks to get students to understand concepts such as rhyming, sequencing, identifying patterns, opposites, directions, and using visualization. This interactive professional development course uses popular stories and silly rhymes to get you (and your students) listening with ears, eyes, and mind in no time.
