About Me
Jennifer L. Graham is a poet who holds a BA in Psychology, an MFA in Creative Writing, and a graduate certificate in literature. Her poems have appeared in publications that include Perspectives, RED OCHRE LiT, and Noctua Review. Using language, symbol, and story, Jennifer has brought poetry therapy to children in schools, often combining it with other expressive arts techniques to help engage different interests and learning styles. Jennifer holds certifications as a “Journal to the Self” instructor and as an applied poetry facilitator in poetry therapy.
Jennifer has also been trained through the Wolf Trap Institute for Early Learning. Wolf Trap teaching artists partner with teachers and caregivers of children ages four to six-years-old to improve learning through the performing arts: using music, dance, drama, and puppetry to bring literacy and math concepts to life!
