Program Description
Are you smarter than a spider? How about a king? In these “brains over brawn” stories with Via Goode, students will delight in the victories of the unlikely heroes in folktales from around the world that emphasize using wit and imagination to overcome obstacles. Through repeated refrains, chants, and songs, children will practice rhyming, recognizing patterns and sequences, and building their vocabulary while honing their listening and prediction skills.

Technical Requirements
Virtual Arts Experience: Technical requirements are flexible based on the host’s capabilities.
In-Person: Clean, clear, and swept stage. Minimum performance space of 10×10 furnished with no larger than a 6-foot table as well as an adult-sized chair. Access to microphone and sound system. If necessary, artist will provide microphone but will need access to electricity. Media Center or classroom preferred.
