Program Description
Wife, mother, widow, and first female printer in Virginia, Clementina Rind lived in Williamsburg during the years leading up to the American Revolution. She was the official printer to Virginia’s House of Burgesses and printed Thomas Jefferson’s “A Summary View of the Rights of British America.” In this interactive program, Sarah Osburn Brady as Clementina Rind introduces students to people and events that helped form our country.
