Animals and Algorithms - Coding & Choreography

Program Description

Inspired by the flora and fauna of the earth’s biomes students explore the sequential nature of computers and coding. Starting with a creative movement activity, students explore one of the earth’s habitats and then working in small groups, students create a short simple sequential habitats dance that duplicates the structure and form of an algorithm. Habitats offered for this workshop are: The Tropical Rainforest, The Southwestern Desert, The African Savanna, The Coral Reef, and The Wetlands.
