About Me
James T.L. Cooper is an accomplished puppeteer who has extensive experience in theatre arts and professional puppet and prop design. In addition to his own company, TLC Puppet Workshops, James runs The Venue on 35th in Norfolk and has been a resident lighting designer with the Virginia Arts Festival.
James has also been trained through the Wolf Trap Institute for Early Learning. Wolf Trap teaching artists partner with teachers and caregivers of children ages four to six-years-old to improve learning through the performing arts: using music, dance, drama, and puppetry to bring literacy and math concepts to life!
