About Me
Arts for Learning’s Janae Thompson is a theatrical performer with numerous acting credits in Hampton Roads and beyond. Among her contributions to the theatrical community are working as Communications Coordinator for ROŪGE: Theater Reinvented; collaborating with Underground Performing Arts Collective (UPAC); and serving as a repertory member with the Canady Foundation for the Arts in Washington, DC. Janae is a graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City and studied digital cinematography at Full Sail University.
Janae has also been trained through the Wolf Trap Institute for Early Learning. Wolf Trap teaching artists partner with teachers and caregivers of children ages four to six-years-old to improve learning through the performing arts: using music, dance, drama, and puppetry to bring literacy and math concepts to life!
