Program Description
Using their own powers of observation, students will learn techniques of how to paint flowers, plants, insects, or other elements from nature. Students’ seeds of creativity will bloom as they learn simple principles of design and color that guide them in painting vibrant works of art.

Technical Requirements
Clean, clear, swept space, clear area for activities. Classroom, multipurpose room, or library preferred. Desks or tables needed.
Supplies: blank canvas: 11×14, paint brushes of various sizes, paint pallets, pencils, plastic cups, non-toxic acrylic paint, blank paper. paper towels. access to water
Program Restrictions
Paint Advisory: Students may get paint on shoes or clothing, be sure to bring appropriate clothing, smock, old shirts, and cover shoes with old socks or wear old shoes.
