Program Description
Participants in this workshop will explore cross-curricular connections to music. The use of music in the general education classroom can help reinforce academic skills and foster an engaging learning environment. Examples in the workshop will reference the use of music for brain breaks, social-emotional learning, and language arts, math, science, and history instruction. Participants will leave this workshop having collected, created, and collaborated on ways to incorporate music into several subjects in the elementary general education classroom.
