Program Description
The African oral tradition was passed on through African American stories, and that rich tradition lives on today. In Anchor Tales, storyteller Dylan Pritchett uses the oral tradition to relay stories embedded with lifelong lessons for middle and high school students. These lessons help serve as “anchors” for students, showing them the way to personal development and growth through wisdom and respectful conduct. In this interactive program, student participation is a must as is having fun!
