Program Description
Storytelling is an ancient art form that uses words and actions to reveal images and elements of a story while encouraging the listener’s imagination. Valerie Davis will take educators through the process of writing and telling a story while using the dramatic arts to focus on a variety of literacy strategies that encourage student learning and comprehension. Educators will learn how to create stories that build bridges of understanding in a diverse classroom.
