About Me

Utpalasia is a family-run endeavor that has brought the magic of the Himalayan region to audiences for more than 25 years, specializing in the contemporary dances and music of Nepal, India, and Tibet. Utpalasia is a member of the International Dance Council-CID, an official partner of UNESCO. Serving as a bridge to Himalayan and South Asian diversity through the arts, Utpalasia features classical Indian Kathak, Buddhist, Bollywood, and Himalayan folk as well as modern hip hop and fusion dance.

Utpalasia is a touring ensemble from Washington, D.C.. Please contact Aisha Noel, Programs and Community Engagement Manager, at 757-961-3737 to discuss tour availability!

What is a tour? A tour is a set number of programs (3-10) scheduled within a specific time span (2-5 days) and within a specific region. Tours are subject to change or cancellation if the minimum number of programs and/or dates are not met.

All tour pricing is subject to change based on number of programs, travel distance, hotel stays, and meals. Please contact us if you have any questions.
