Art Forms: Storytelling

About Me

Lynn Ruehlmann has been telling and teaching storytelling across Virginia and around the country since 1990. Her stories are drawn from people in her own life, from history, and from the larger-than-life characters of Greek myths. She performs a wide range of programs and stories: some are designed for adults, some address student curriculum needs, and some are family friendly entertainment. Lynn’s storytelling CDs have won four national awards, and she has been named Artist of the Year for Arts for Learning/Young Audiences of Virginia. Along with cellist Peter Greydanus, Lynn performs in The Storyline Ensemble, which combines folk tales with classical music.
