About Me
Jackie Adonis is an actor and singer who sings soprano with the Doorway Singers in Hampton Roads. She has a B.A. in Drama from the University of Virginia and an M.F.A. in Acting from Regent University. Jackie acts, directs, and produces plays and teaches audition technique at the Hurrah Players in Norfolk. In the Zeiders American Dream Theater production of Likker Outta Control, she won the audience favorite award for directing and acting. Jackie represented the United States at the Liverpool International Theatre Festival in Nova Scotia in October 2022.
Jackie has also been trained through the Wolf Trap Institute for Early Learning. Wolf Trap teaching artists partner with teachers and caregivers of children ages four to six-years-old to improve learning through the performing arts: using music, dance, drama, and puppetry to bring literacy and math concepts to life!
