Cindy and Shelly are a children’s musical duo comprised of Cindy Kays and Shelly Craig Potter. Together Cindy and Shelly have over 50 years of musical experience and have been performing with Arts for Learning for over 17 years. Shelly and Cindy have performed together for over 23 years as a children’s duo. Using stringed instruments such as the guitar, banjo, Dobro, ukulele, and mandolin, as well as various percussion instruments, puppets and entertainment props, Cindy and Shelly encourage children (and adults, too!) to participate with hand motions and singing. Their song repertoire ranges from traditional and contemporary folk songs to original songs. Their four CD releases have all been awarded Parents’ Choice Awards for excellence in children’s music; a national honor.
