Anna Heywood Green is Chief Executive Officer of Arts for Learning Virginia, where she advanced through programmatic and operational roles—including Chief Operations Officer and Affiliate Director for Coastal Virginia Wolf Trap—before being appointed CEO in July 2025. With more than two decades of nonprofit leadership and arts management experience, Anna leads strategic initiatives, cultivates partnerships, and ensures organizational sustainability to provide every child with access to creative, high-quality arts learning. Raised in Whynot, North Carolina’s historic Seagrove pottery region, Anna grew up immersed in the arts through her family’s business, Whynot Pottery, founded in 1981. Her studies in theater, visual arts, business administration, and nonprofit leadership at Tidewater Community College and the College of William & Mary reflect her lifelong commitment to creative learning. Passionate about community engagement, Anna has contributed to statewide and regional education and cultural development through advisory panels and local councils. She lives in Norfolk, is the proud parent of a teenager, and actively volunteers with Norfolk Public Schools and United Way of South Hampton Roads initiatives supporting early childhood education.

Stephanie Jackson joined Arts for Learning Virginia in September 2022 as Operations Coordinator and now serves as Chief Operations Officer. In this role, she oversees daily administration, operations, finance, grant and foundation management, and organizational infrastructure. Before joining Arts for Learning Virginia, Stephanie worked for Norfolk Public Libraries from 2015 to 2022, most recently as supervising librarian for the Richard A. Tucker Memorial Library. There, she developed innovative programming to engage users of all ages, with a focus on teen initiatives related to art, STEM, and mental health. Stephanie earned a master’s degree in library and information science from San José State University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in English with a minor in music from Hollins University. A pianist, writer, and visual artist, she lives in Hampton Roads.
Sydney A. Rivers

Sydney Rivers joined Arts for Learning in January 2026. She is completing her degree in Finance with a minor in Risk Management and Insurance at Old Dominion University. A lifelong participant in the arts—from plays to chorus to orchestra—she brings a creative foundation to her interest in public serving work. Sydney plans to pursue a Master of Public Administration and ultimately build a career in compliance and regulation, where she hopes to help organizations operate ethically and effectively.

Katie Driskill joined Arts for Learning Virginia in 2023 and, in her new role, leads the Engagement, Education, and Program Team, guiding high quality arts integrated experiences for schools and communities across the region. She is passionate about how the arts build confidence, curiosity, and connection in children, and she values fostering strong relationships with educators and teaching artists. Before joining the organization, Katie worked with children and teens at Norfolk Public Library and served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA). She earned an associate degree from Tidewater Community College and a B.S. in psychology from Old Dominion University. Katie also serves on the PreK Action Team for United Way of South Hampton Roads’ United for Children initiative. A resident of Virginia Beach, Katie has a fondness for fiber arts and enjoys finding small ways to keep creativity woven into everyday life with her young son.
Jackie R. Adonis

Jackie Adonis joined the Arts for Learning Virginia staff in 2025 as a part-time program assistant while also serving as a teaching and performing artist with A4L-VA and Coastal Virginia Wolf Trap. In January 2026, she transitioned to a full-time role coordinating out-of-school-time and community-based arts programs. An award-winning actor and director, Jackie has sung with The Doorway Singers since 2019. She holds a B.A. in Drama from the University of Virginia and an M.F.A. in Acting from Regent University. Her background in production and stage management strengthens her ability to coordinate complex programs, manage logistics, and support artists with clarity and efficiency while ensuring program quality and accessibility while fostering creative learning opportunities for students and families.
Aisha K. Noel

Since joining Arts for Learning Virginia in 2019, Aisha Noel has drawn on her background in theater and nonprofit work to strengthen relationships with education and community partners. In her current role, she advances the organization’s mission by managing artist engagement and cultivating partnerships that expand program reach and sustainability. Aisha ensures artists are supported and valued while fostering collaborations that enhance community impact and organizational growth. Prior to joining the organization, Aisha worked with the Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board and the Boys & Girls Club of the Virginia Peninsula, and she completed an arts administration internship at Signature Theatre in Arlington, Virginia. She holds a two-year acting certificate from the National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts and is pursuing dual certifications in arts management from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Among her theatrical credits, Aisha has performed with the Williamsburg Players and appeared in a production at Norfolk’s historic Attucks Theatre. She is a resident of Newport News and serves on the Norfolk Public Schools Community Engagement Council.
