Program Description
Explore what space is and develop knowledge of rhythm, spatial concepts, patterns, sequence, and relationships. Using the book Goodnight Moon, we become aware of our environment, in this case the solar system. We move through space and make shapes with our bodies to bring the story to life. After hearing a story about the sun, moon, and stars students will create and perform a movement piece based on their choice of celestial body.

Technical Requirements
Clean and clear swept space. Speaker or sound system compatible with cell phone for music playback and access to electricity. Classroom preferred – no gymnasium.
