Program Description
Can a tortoise shell be made with triangles and rectangles? Using straight lines and shapes participants create beautiful mosaics of everyday objects with geometric shapes. With the acronym M.O.S.A.I.C., learn geometric terminology: Midpoint, Octagon, Square, Acute Triangle, Isosceles Triangle, and Concave. This interactive workshop explores how math can be fun and how to incorporate it into crafting beautiful artwork based on things they see throughout their day.
