Program Description

Storyteller and guitarist Victoria Phelps will have your students clapping, stomping, and singing in three languages by the time she concludes her delightful review of folk songs and folk tales. This program is designed to keep students engaged as they learn positive affirmations and that patience leads to beautiful surprises. Students sing in a variety of languages to learn about how to greet new friends while they help with the lyrics to Aiken Drum and actively listen to the Ugly Duckling. Victoria blends a combination of gentle excitement with learning that includes positive character building, sequencing movement, and words, finding patterns, engaging imagination, and just plain having fun while doing it!
