Program Description
Many cultures use musical instruments to mimic the sounds of nature. Sometimes people use music to call to the rain or the winds, for instance when they are waiting for the rains to come back after a long dry spell or wishing for the winds to stop after a period of violent storms. We can make musical instruments from “household junk”. We can use these instruments made from common household objects to make sounds together, to mimic sounds from nature, and to play with different rhythms.
