Program Description
What is your favorite bone? How does it connect to the rest? Can you design a puppet from that bone up? How does your “tibia” compare to that of a T-Rex and how will the difference in scale affect your design? Master Puppeteer and designer, James Cooper will explore these questions and more with students as they actively use found materials to investigate the “bones” of puppet design and experience the science and psychology of scale while they design their puppets. Teamwork and critical thinking are on display in this interactive workshop that can be expanded into a mini or full residency for your class or school.
